Have you wondered what it is like to be in a boat with 20 inboard motors?
Well wonder no more as we invite you to Enter the Dragon!
Dragon boating is a fun sport for people from twelve years old – and there is no upper age limit! And it is accessible and enjoyable for people of all fitness levels.
If you’re looking to immerse yourself into a culture of community, commitment and determination – or just want to get fit in a fun environment – then we welcome you to come down to Mariner Place in Yarralumla to give it a go!
It's a great way to make new friends.

* If you join a dragon boat club by 31 December you will be eligible for selection by your club to compete in the ACT Championships in March 2020.

Tips
• You need covered shoes that you don't mind getting wet
• Equipment is provided (paddle, life jacket and boat)
• All Sweeps (steerer) are trained and qualified
• Bring water to drink
• As always, slip, slop, slap in the Aussie sun - sunscreen, a hat and sunglasses.
• We are very unlikely to capsize, but you need to be able to swim 50m OR wear a life jacket (we will supply these)
