This is a fun regatta.  It will start with a 500m sweepstake (20s) at 7.45am to give our sweeps an opportunity to work towards their accreditation.  Then we will have 100m races for women's, mixed and opens 10s crews. 

The third event will be 1000m pursuit races.  The race will be a turn rqace around the xxm course.  To enter, each club will need a women's 10s crew and and an open 10s crew.  (The open crew can be any gender or mix of genders.)  The two crews will be on the water together, racing around the course, at the same time as another club's women's and open crews are racing around the course.  Like a pursuit race in cycling, the two clubs will start on opposite sides of the course.  For each crew, the time their slower boat takes to complete the 1000m will be what counts, so the fastest boat should be doing what it can to help the slower boat make the best time it can.
